Corporate Shaman Mentor and Coach Travel Guide
The name "Khenamu Otterson" (Eric Hicks Sr.) is a spiritual name given to me by one of my Shamanic elders as a graduation story during my study of the Native American Medicine Wheel. The first name Khenamu may have its roots in Ancient Egypt, possibly an alternative spelling for Khnum the ancient Egyptian ram god associated with water, the river Nile, fertility and creation. The last name Otterson is a contraction of "Otter's Son", meaning Son of Otter the archetypal Power Animal. Otter as the Power Animal represents qualities such as joy, playfulness, adaptability, independence, and freedom. In any case, the full meaning of my name will continue to be a journey of self-discovery for the remainder of my life. I most certainly will ever strive to embody the qualities of my name in all my work and service to the earth and to humanity.
